Sevilla FC's U-15 team finished third in the LALIGA FC Futures tournament and won a bronze medal in the 33rd edition after two consecutive years of reaching the final. The Sevilla team beat Real Betis in the third-place match. Sevilla FC played a very serious match in the derby, defending well and capitalizing on their chances to take the lead with a goal from José Manuel. In stoppage time, Betis equalized and forced a penalty shootout. In the shootout, Álvaro, Carlos Martínez, and Martín scored their penalties, and Juli Navarro saved one of the two shots taken by Betis to give the bronze medal to the U-15 team. In the first match of the Sunday, the team from Nervión lost in the semifinals against Elche CF 1-2 in a very disputed match that deprived them of the title. The pupils of Alberto Barroso started better and began winning with a goal in the 7th minute from José Manuel from outside the area. The Sevillistas were superior in the field and the score but Elche equalized in their first opportunity. The U-15 team suffered the blow and Elche grew in the match and in the second part consummated the comeback in a lucky play although Sevilla enjoyed several occasions that would have been worth the tie to force the penalty shootout.
