"With Jesús Navas I had an especially good connection," Negredo explained, having shared a dressing room with the Sevilla captain for five years in total, four at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán and one at Manchester City. He also highlighted his on-field understanding with José Antonio Reyes, a player he described as needing to run when he received the ball and who offered him strong emotional support during their time together. Negredo mentioned that the lessons learned from players like them are invaluable for his new career as a coach.
