This promising beginning backs the market strategy orchestrated by sporting director José Ignacio Navarro, who executed 27 incoming and outgoing transfer operations during the summer.
The transformation of the dressing room is profound. The first-team squad's average age has dropped from 29.6 to 25.8 years, a significant rejuvenation. The total market value of signings made this summer amounts to 79.3 million euros, a figure substantially higher than the investments of the three previous campaigns, which were 23.2, 40.5, and 60.6 million respectively.
Of the eleven reinforcements brought in, nine have already made their debuts for Sevilla. Only Fran González and Félix Correia are awaiting their chance.
