Sevilla FC has launched Transfer Tracker, a legal and technological consulting tool that will allow the club to obtain unpaid solidarity compensation for player transfers. This new platform has been developed in collaboration with LaLiga Tech and aims to identify and claim the solidarity payments that correspond to the club for the transfers of players formed in the entity. To date, over 700 player movements have been identified in 53 different competitions, generating over one million euros. FIFA regulations state that clubs can claim up to 5% of a player's value when they are transferred. Transfer Tracker will analyze the transfer market to identify operations that can be claimed. Over time, the club has worked for two years in its data and legal department to implement this tool in the sports and business areas. The tool has no cost for clubs and any team in the world can use it to claim their compensation. So, Sevilla has taken an important step to maximize its income and optimize its economic management. The Sevillian entity has explained that the tool has been designed to work independently and has already generated positive results. But, the club knows that there is still much work to be done to claim all the solidarity payments that correspond to it. In this sense, Transfer Tracker strives to identify, verify and claim the solidarity mechanism from transfers with retroactive character before they prescribe. According to the latest data provided by Sevilla, there are over 1.2 billion dollars in unclaimed compensation that clubs have the right to request. The club's manager, Jorge Sampaoli, has stated that this tool will be a great help in managing the club's finances. And, the club's fans are excited about the potential benefits that this tool can bring. But, only time will tell if Transfer Tracker will be a success for Sevilla FC.
