Sevilla FC have discovered the six possible opponents they could face in the first round of the 2026/27 Copa del Rey. The draw, which takes place on Friday 4 October, will pair the La Liga side with one of the clubs from Segunda RFEF or Tercera RFEF that came through the preliminary round.

The potential rivals are CD Lebrijana, CD Laredo, CD Alfaro, CD Quintanar del Rey, CD Mensajero and CD Varea. Lebrijana, a club from the province of Seville, would represent the most local derby of the options. The club confirmed the list of possible opponents in an official statement on its website.

This initial round marks the team's entry into the competition this season, where they will look to build momentum after a mixed start in the league. Sevilla currently sit fifth in La Liga with 13 points from seven games, having recorded four wins, one draw and two defeats. Their recent form shows just one win from their last three league matches, a contrast to their solid opening. In attack, the team has taken an average of 63 minutes to score their goals in the league this season. Their last outing was a 1-3 friendly defeat to Aston Villa.

The side managed by Quique Sánchez Flores now has an international break before returning to competitive action. Their next league fixture is an away trip to 17th-placed Levante on 12 October.

The Copa del Rey offers a chance to add silverware this campaign. Friday's draw will confirm a trip to an opponent's ground, as top-flight clubs always play away in this first round.
