Sevilla Atlético's unbeaten start to the season ended with a 2-0 defeat to Club Atlético Central in the first official derby between the two sides. Juan Antonio's goals in the 5th and 36th minutes decided the match, played this Sunday at the Estadio Ciudad de Alcalá de Guadaíra.
Diego Galiano's side, who entered the game with seven points from four matches, surrendered top spot in Group IV of the Primera Federación. The opening goal came early, with J.A. Soler providing the assist for Juan Antonio to finish. The striker's second strike before halftime sealed a scoreline that would not change.
Changes from both benches
Diego Galiano shuffled his pack at halftime, switching to a two-striker system with the introductions of Ibra Sow and Marc Fernández. Marcos Contreras responded with changes of his own around the 58th minute, bringing on Condán and De las Marinas for Manu Gavilán and Fausto Tienza. Referee Jorge González Sánchez booked Manu Gavilán, Sachetti and De las Marinas for Central, and Mario Díaz and Jesús Cruz for Sevilla Atlético.
The Sevilla reserve team, who remain on seven points, now face their next fixture on Sunday at 11:30 against CD Badajoz at the Estadio Jesús Navas. Meanwhile, Sevilla's first team, who sit fifth in La Liga, prepare for their trip to face Levante on October 12th.
